“Peacock of Nemaha County” is a 10 x 14 inches oil painting, from my own reference photo of a peacock. I took photos in June 2010 at the farm of Terry and Misy, when I took a guest from Paraguay to see goats being milked at the farm. I painted the feather “from life” (not from a photo).
Painted with 100% lightfast oil pigments by Daniel Smith (USA) and Winsor & Newton (England)
As in usual in my art, the paint surface is delicate, clean, and refined.
As of April 2013, no prints or reproductions have been made. If the artist makes prints from the image, they will be on watercolor paper, so as to preserve the singularity of the oil original.
